For a real blockage, none of the bottles. Water at high pressure through the right nozzle is what actually cleans a pipe, and it leaves nothing caustic behind. For keeping drains clear day to day, a sink strainer and a bin for fat do more than any product.

For sound clay, cast iron and PVC, yes, with the pressure matched to the pipe. Badly broken or asbestos cement pipe needs a different method, which is why an unknown line gets filmed before we jet it hard.

You can find them for hire, but cleaning a drain connected to the sewer is licensed draining work in NSW, and a high-pressure nozzle can cause serious injuries. A cable jammed in a clay joint is also one of the more expensive ways to turn a blockage into a dig.
