Tell us what's happening

The short answer
We clean the burners and pilot, check every safety device, the gas pressure and the flue, and hand it back burning clean.
How it works
Step 1: Call or book online
Tell us what is happening. We ask the right questions and book a time that suits you.
Step 2: We find the cause
A licensed plumber diagnoses it properly, with a drain camera, leak detection or a pressure test where it helps.
Step 3: A fixed price, agreed first
You agree the price before any work starts. We quote the job, not the hour, so there are no surprise charges.
Step 4: Done right, guaranteed
We finish the job, clean up, and back our workmanship with a lifetime labour guarantee.
Step 5: You know the price first
The figure for the whole job, in writing, before anyone starts. That figure is what turns up on the invoice.

Questions and answers
Go by the interval in your heater's manual. If you've lost the manual, or it has been years since anyone looked at it, book a service before winter. Book straight away if it soots, smells or keeps losing its flame.
Glass off and cleaned, logs and embers removed, cleaned and reset to the maker's layout, burner and pilot cleaned, flame safety and ignition tested, pressure checked, flue checked and the connection leak-tested.
Leave the glass and the logs to a gas fitter. You can dust the outside of the fireplace with the fire off and cold, but taking the front off disturbs the seal and the log layout.
Dust that settled on the burner over summer burns off, and the smell fades quickly. If it doesn't fade, or it smells like gas, turn the heater off and book a service. If the smell is strong, get everyone outside first.
Yes. Our trucks cover Greater Sydney, from the Northern Beaches to Parramatta, Cumberland and out to Camden and Wollondilly.
Usually. It's often a dirty pilot or a worn flame safety device, both fixable during a service. If parts aren't made any more, we'll say so and price a replacement alongside.
